Gifting for my daycare kiddos

This is a tag album made from scraps. I put pictures of the kids at play during the year. Not exciting but I hope that the parents appreciate this.
This is a box I decorated for my longest attending daycare family. She works with mentally challenged adults all day and I thought a little display of her girls might be nice to look at during the day.
And this is a little book of pics I made also because I have lots of pictures. I used my stash and album that I had on hand.

I need to take a picture of my snowman made out of a paver. It was not my work but I plan to copy it for the kids next year. I forgot how cool it was until I pulled out my decorations.

Happy crafting everyone.

Christmas crafting has begun!

This is a message board for one of my kids teachers. It is a cookie sheet. I used the back side so I wouldn't need to put a ribbon or anything for hanging. There are 2 magnets which are made from buttons. And did you know that your crop-o-dile punches through metal? Watch for metal splinters though! I used CTMH Noteworthy collection. Of course so much better IRL.

This one is side ways, sorry! This is a Bo Bunny paper Message Board. I used the inside as opposed to the outside on this one. I will need to add a hanging ribbon to use this. Magnets are on the side. This one has 3 button magnets and a magnet clip.

I have these mail boxes made from some of my CTMH stash. I am not enjoying these as much as I thought I would and I have 22 to go!!! I am calling these Santa's magic mail box because only Santa can pull the kids letter out to read it.

This is the second teacher message board I made. I actually stamped some swirls on this one. Again I dug into my CTMH stash and this is Noteworthy Collection.

This is also from my stash. I bought this paper for my inevitable trip to Disneyland. I had some random disney embellies that I added with my CTMH paper.

So if you need some official info, I figured out where I could send you.

The main page:
http://www.closetomyheart.com

Check out Stamp of the month, Workshops on the Go, and Celebrate Today. All very cool!!!

http://www.closetomyheart.com/wotg/gwotg.aspx

You should be able to get a feel for the Workshops. I have 2 so far and I will be getting the other 2. I am happy to set up a Workshop or 2 if anyone wants to try them out. I will see if I can't get a date and location for the west side of town and also the east side.

Enough scrappy today? Never!!!

Jingle all the Way

Okay, so it is just called JINGLE but it was all the way to FUN!!!

I just opened it and I can't wait to use it. The workshop is priced at $29.95 (plus nasty old tax and shipping) But you get a full paper pack which has 12 double sided sheets of patterned paper and 10 pieces of coordinated cardstock, a stamp set only available with the workshop kit, and an embellishment. In this one there is a full package of glitter brads. (Retail for this kit is $35.85). Oh there is also a 6 page color workshop guide with step by step instructions to create a 2 page layout and 3 cards. And I know I will have plenty more paper to make even more stuff. If you want to get fancy, like the sample, there are usually 2 items additional to purchase at about $13 but obviously they can be used for other stuff too.

So my goal is to see what I can make with just the kit. So I can confirm it as a deal. Yeah for a scrappy weekend! And then to have a workshop or 10. Want details? E-mail me.

Next up? Twitterpated with cute little woodland animal feel!

I love the UPS man!

I haven't ordered anything in so long, that I had forgotten how much fun it is to have him bring big boxes to the door! I have 10 brand new catty's and the August order. I also have 2 new workshops which I will be unveiling just as soon as I get my pics and details straight, hopefully today!!!! Stay tuned...................

Trying to find my scraproom

As you can see, it is in SAD shape. I have to get back into my scrapping groove. The holidays are coming. So far I have gotten a few things back on track.

Pens are okay.
Flowers are okay. (Granted there are many more flowers in other places.)
Closet has been rediscovered and made usable again.
Paint has a good home too.
And this peg board is fun again. Makes me feel like I am shopping instead of at home. Everyone knows that cropping at the stores are fun because you shop while you crop.

More photos soon, I hope!

Coming Soon!

I need to photograph 17 pages of Amanda's Birthday Album. I discovered that I get great light in the afternoon on my front porch and I hope that means I can get a good color representation of my pages. I apologize though that they are not as close up.

Also, I will be working on some awesome new Workshops on the Go Kits by Close to My Heart and will be sharing that yummy goodness too.

Loving Kits right now

These 2 pages are from a Scrapbook ETC. (1) page kit that I stretched into a 2 page layout. Just love the way this came out.

Just Plain CUTE

Just Plain CUTE was made using a Magic Moments Workshop Guide and Kit. I deviated from the Guide instructions some but really enjoyed the process as well as the inspiration. Measuring guidlines and a sketch is a winning combination.

Some creations to share Part 2

This batch of pages are created with the Notebook Kits by Close to My Heart with a few random embellies from Imaginise and Bazzill. I need to add some journaling on a couple of layouts. And even after doing 6 scrap pages, I still have enough left over to do some more!

Some creations to share Part 1

I know you are so excited! I have the canvas I made for a friend's wedding gift.

The rose was the boutineer my hubby wore. He was a groomsman.

The bride loves pink and I love bling!

Let's improve this!

I have had wretched luck with my editing software. As you can see I have posted all 18 pages I have done and a canvas. Just kidding!!! So much for being the creative wind beneath your wings. I am scrapping tonight and I hoping for creative miracles to share.

Challenge for July

I will be getting in my new Close to My Heart shipment next week and will be posting 3 new workshops. I am determined to hit my 300 goal and have about 225 items to complete. And what better way than by posting my classes online and hoping people will come play. I need all the encouragement I can get.

I am also going to be posting my challenges to myself here. And if anyone does these challenges, please leave me a link so I can check out what you come up with. And I will be leaving my pages here as well.

So my challenge for July is Amanda. More specifically I am planning to fill in her anorexic book. She is turning 16 and has less pages than the baby! So I am digging deep in the photo box and retrieving her childhood. I encourage y'all to tackle your older stock of pictures. Your child hood, or high school, or anything at least 5 years old. I am going through many archives of page maps and sketching while I am away on vacation and should have my first batch of oldies ready to post next Saturday.

See you soon!

Some new pictures

I finally have some scrappy to share. Some of these are months old and one was done this weekend. I am hoping to post often. I hope you enjoy these. I have lost use of my editing program so these are a bit rough because I can't do a tight crop. Hopefully soon. I figure you will at least get an idea this way.
