July 2

So this is my creativity for the day. Sorry about the horrific picture quality. I usually photograph outside to get the best color, etc. But it is SO WINDY! Not to mention really, really HOT! So these will have to do. One set is inspired by the Bakers Dozen class that just wrapped up. It involved tags and the personality pics of Corwin. The other was a May Flaum challenge in Camp Scrap. The color scheme was sent by Stacy Julian as a challenge to kick off. It was a yummy looking cheeseburger. The colors were yellow (cheese), light, light orange with a hint of brown (bun), purple(onion), green (lettuce), and red (tomato). I am not in love with the layout but it did use up a bunch of scraps. Anyway, off to play. Let's see if something comes out of Saturday.

Trying to get my groove back

So here I am with a scrap room that should inspire creativity. And it has so much in it, honestly I get overwhelmed and want to cry! When I was in Vegas, I had one bag of supplies to work on cards and I got 26 cards done in about 3 to 4 hours! And it was FUN! So I am implementing Operation Scrap Room. Basically I am going to try 31 days of scrapping. I am going to scrapbook at least 1 hour daily and if all goes well, I will be posting my creativity of the day. There is a slight chance that I may shift to quilting gears. I am going to pull out of my funk.

So today, no pictures. But hopefully tomorrow. I have two awesome Big Picture Scrapbooking classes I am taking right now. And 1 that just ended. I got nothing done during the class but am going to complete all 13 assignments!!!!

My goal with Operation Scrap Room is to discover what supplies I am actually using and then I am going to donate, sell, or trash the "junk". I hoping the 2 goals together will either get my butt in gear or at the very least organize the space. I know looking at the previous post that it looks organized. And it is but there is just too much so if anything gets slightly shifted, it cause a disaster!!!! So Day 1. I will see if I can post pics tonight, but fingers crossed for tomorrow.

So I have done some boring stuff this year....

From my first Sprint cup race. I took a ton of pictures and then crammed them. I used like 20% of them but I think I captured the day okay.
The two pages together.
Better effect on the 2 page but the single pages follow.

Remember Pocket Pages? I decided to stic a few of the cards in a pocket page and call it done.

I used some close to my heart base pages and Bo Bunny.

Digging in my stash and in my picture box. This is obviously from being pregnant with Jocelyn.
This is for my All About Me album. This one I like. Nice and simple but bold!
Amanda started this page when she was 8 or so, I just finished it up.

So my scrappy mojo is GONE! I just signed up for some Big Picture Scrapping classes to see if I can get some of it back. However!!! Here is some items done this year. I have no inspiration and was going for quantity getting done. So for those counting, that is 12 done out of 200 for the year. I have a digi page done in my Heritage Makers account but don't know how to share it. Scrap room pics coming soon. Only 1 wall done thus far.

Hopefully I will be updating soon!

Trying again.

Don't laugh but Nascar season is coming and with that, my productivity increases, scrapwise. So I will be working on sharing more and possibly adding the challenges I am doing. I will also be posting my extra stuff for sale.

Wish me luck!

Gifting for my daycare kiddos

This is a tag album made from scraps. I put pictures of the kids at play during the year. Not exciting but I hope that the parents appreciate this.
This is a box I decorated for my longest attending daycare family. She works with mentally challenged adults all day and I thought a little display of her girls might be nice to look at during the day.
And this is a little book of pics I made also because I have lots of pictures. I used my stash and album that I had on hand.

I need to take a picture of my snowman made out of a paver. It was not my work but I plan to copy it for the kids next year. I forgot how cool it was until I pulled out my decorations.

Happy crafting everyone.

Christmas crafting has begun!

This is a message board for one of my kids teachers. It is a cookie sheet. I used the back side so I wouldn't need to put a ribbon or anything for hanging. There are 2 magnets which are made from buttons. And did you know that your crop-o-dile punches through metal? Watch for metal splinters though! I used CTMH Noteworthy collection. Of course so much better IRL.

This one is side ways, sorry! This is a Bo Bunny paper Message Board. I used the inside as opposed to the outside on this one. I will need to add a hanging ribbon to use this. Magnets are on the side. This one has 3 button magnets and a magnet clip.

I have these mail boxes made from some of my CTMH stash. I am not enjoying these as much as I thought I would and I have 22 to go!!! I am calling these Santa's magic mail box because only Santa can pull the kids letter out to read it.

This is the second teacher message board I made. I actually stamped some swirls on this one. Again I dug into my CTMH stash and this is Noteworthy Collection.

This is also from my stash. I bought this paper for my inevitable trip to Disneyland. I had some random disney embellies that I added with my CTMH paper.
